Rico’s Lechon is coming to Manila

Trying out Rico’s Lechon’s original or spicy variant is one of the must-dos when in Cebu. Now, we no longer need to fly to Queen City of the South or ask relatives or friends to get it for us as Rico’s Lechon is opening its first branch in Manila at The Fort Strip in Bonifacio Global City.

Rico’s Lechon is one of the most popular brands in Cebu and is famed for developin and introducin the distinctive Spicy Cebu Lechon.

It has been consistently recognized as the “Best Cebu Lechon” by different award-giving bodies, and is the only local food concept to have won the Asia-Pacific Stevie International Business Award held in Tokyo, Japan last 2017. Recently, it earned a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor for consistently receiving great reviews on the travel site.

The expansion is due to the acquisition of the brand by Meat Concepts Corporation, which affiliated with the operators of Ogawa Traditional Japanese Restaurant, KPub BBQ, Thai BBQ, OPPA Chicken, Modern China, and Tony Roma’s. Rico’s Lechon is the first Filipino brand of the company.

“I’ve been a patron of Rico’s Lechon for years and personally believe it’s the best. We want to be able to have Cebuanos take pride in sharing this with the rest of the country, and eventually the world,” said  Meat Concepts Corp. president George Pua.

More Rico’s Lechon branches are set to open at Tiendesitas and Portico in Pasig City, Glorietta in Makati, Cloverleaf Mall and UP Town Center in Quezon City, Ayala Feliz in Marikina, and Ayala Macapagal and Blue Bay Walk in Pasay.
