This Policy sets out the commitment of KPUB to collect and process personal information and sensitive personal information in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and other relevant policies on data privacy, including issuances of the National Privacy Commission. This commitment reflects the value we place in obtaining and keeping the trust of our customers, business partners and others who share their personal information with us.
This policy summarizes what personal information we may collect, how we may use this information, and other important topics relating to your privacy and data protection. KPUB adheres to the general principles of transparency, legitimate purpose and proportionality and such other relevant principles in the processing, collection and retention of personal data as required by applicable law.
This Policy outlines the privacy practices of KPUB in relation to our processes and contents which are made available through our network of websites, online and mobile applications, and social media pages operated by or on behalf of KPUB. It also applies to personal information which KPUB may otherwise collect through our products and services.

The data privacy policy and practices described herein are primarily intended for application and use in the Philippines, in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 or R.A. 10173, it’s implementing Rules and Regulations, and pertinent rules which may be issued by the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines. When accessing our websites, online or mobile applications, and social media pages and/or services from outside the Philippines, you acknowledge and agree that your information or data may be transferred to and processed in the Philippines following legal and regulatory standards for data protection that may differ from the privacy laws of your current or home jurisdiction or any other jurisdiction.
What KPUB May Collect
KPUB collects personal information that is any data which can be used to identify a person. This may include:
Information you provide: (i) contact information such as your name, phone number, mobile number, home or office address, email; (ii) personal particulars such as birth date, education, age, gender; (iii) government ID or registration details; (iv) financial information (such as income, expenses, tax, financial and transaction history, account information); (v) employment details, business interests and assets; (vi) information about your preferences, such as your preferred method of communication and product types in which you are interested
Information automatically gathered from your device: (i) device and browser information such as device type, browser type, IP address, operating system, and device identifier; (ii) information about how you interact with us through the use of KPUB sites, online or mobile application and how you interact with our digital advertisements and promotion; (iii) location information including precise real-time location information from your device and imprecise location information derived from your IP address or postal code. The KPUB APP will NOT access precise-real time location information from your device unless you grant permission to do so.
Information gathered from third party entities such as: government offices, judicial bodies or tribunals, tax authorities.
Information about your transactions and dealings such as: your account activities, movements and interactions with third parties such as merchants and utility companies.
Information about your personal opinions or comments sent to us through: your feedback or responses to surveys or any other interaction that you had with our employees, authorized representatives, agents or service providers
How KPUB Uses Your Information
Enhance and manage our relationships with you which may include: (i) delivering and providing the products and services you have availed; (ii) providing information about KPUB products, services, transactions, promotional activities and advertisements; (iii) approving, facilitating and processing applications and transaction; (iv) responding to queries, inquiries, requests or complaints; (v) sending statement of accounts, billings, invoices, notices, shipping or any other relevant document; (vi) conducting studies, researches, surveys, for the purposes of reviewing and developing our products and services.
Comply with Philippine laws, as well as with legal and regulatory requirements, and respond to court orders and other instructions and requests from local or foreign authorities.
Address legal issues which may include: (i) establishing, enforcing, exercising, or defending legal claims and; (ii) complying with laws, regulations, court orders, or other legal processes.

How KPUB Protects Your Information
KPUB maintains and employs reasonable physical, technological and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of your personal information. We have adopted proper security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include internal reviews of our data collection, storage, and processing practices, as well as physical security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access. We train our employees to properly handle your information. We also require the third party entities we engage and provide services for us to protect your personal information in accordance with our own security standards.
Retention
The period within which your personal information will be retained will depend upon the purpose and use of information collected. There are legal requirements that we keep some types of data for specific periods. Otherwise, we will retain it for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected.
