Rico’s Lechon is Heading to Manila This July!

Your trip to the Queen City of the South will never be complete without eating a platter or two of Rico’s Lechon. When you visit Cebu and ask a local for the best place to eat, many of them will tell you to go and head to Rico’s Lechon. Believe it or not, Rico’s sells around 2,000 to 4,000 pieces of lechon every month! They have patrons all over the country, including politicians and famous personalities.

Now, you don’t need to travel several hours to taste the scrumptious Lechon Cebu. Whether you miss the signature Spicy Lechon of the place or you are a foodie wanting to get a bite of this much talked about restaurant, lucky us! According to Facebook Group Let’s Eat Pare, Rico’s Lechon is opening their very first branch in Metro Manila at The Fort Strip in Bonifacio Global City on July 2018 (tentative date).

This famous Lechon Restaurant is also known for having a wide variety of dishes. Their signature Lechon, which they stuff with tomatoes, lemongrass, leeks, ginger, calamansi, leeks, and other spices before they roast them in an open pit is bursting with juices and flavors with every bite. They also have their blockbuster Spicy Lechon, which has a combination of chili and garlic that will make you wanting for more.

Other than their Original Lechon and Spicy Lechon, they also have Ngohiong, a deep-fried, battered rice-paper roll that contains a mixture of ground pork, minced shrimps, singkamas, garlic, and other spices, Lechon Paksiw, Kalderetang Kambing, and Baked Scallops among others.

Rico’s Lechon is bound to open at The Fort Entertainment Complex, 26th corner 7th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The date is still tentative but we will keep you updated.
