Home-cooked Cebuano dishes in a hotel setting

CEBU, Philippines – Cebuanos and travelers may now enjoy home-cooked Cebuano dishes in a hotel setting. Halo restaurant of St. Mark Hotel has recently launched its new buffet set for a truly delectable dining experience.

The buffet features whole Rico’s lechon, especially the spicy one. The other dishes include local specialties like Inon-onang isda, Caldereta, Dugo-dugo, Paklay, and Chicken Halang-halang. There ‘s also Ginamos, Puso sa Saging, Eggplant Salad and many others more. Desserts include Puto Kutchinta, Palitaw, Ice Candy, and Sapin-sapin. The fare goes with one round of softdrink or iced tea.

The buffet is available to both in-house guests and walk-in diners every Wednesday and Sunday, 12 noon to 2:30 p.m., and Friday 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. A live band performs every Friday night to add fun to dinner. The rest of the days, the restaurant serves a la carte for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner.
